Protocol Education are currently looking for a Year 6 classroom teacher for a lovely school in Hackney.

This 3-form entry school is looking for a teacher who can start in September 2024.

The successful applicant will benefit from on-going CPD and excellent support from an experienced SLT.

The school are ideally looking for a teacher with experience teaching Year 6 SAT's.

You will be responsible for driving attainment in both English and Maths to ensure suitable progress is made by every learner in your class.

The school are open to applications from experienced teachers and ECT's.

They are looking for a teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and someone who will go above and beyond to contribute to the overall success of the school.

 

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 6 students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school children
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and daily schedule. The teacher may need to attend occasional evening events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
