Register as a Tutor - National Tutoring Programme

The National Tutoring Programme will deliver heavily subsidised tuition sessions for the most vulnerable pupils in schools across the country.

What is the National Tutoring Programme? (NTP)

The NTP was created to support schools by providing access to subsidised high-quality tuition to disadvantaged pupils, whose learning has been impacted by the pandemic.

As an approved tuition partner of the NTP, Protocol Education is training and supporting tutors to tuition programmes in schools across the country. Here's how you can get involved.

Protocol Education’s partner company Best Practice Network has developed the CPD Certified Tutor Toolkit. Providing interactive and engaging content to illustrate important and complex concepts. This course provides a real insight into the role of the tutor. Alongside a range of practical tools to help you plan, deliver and assess high-impact tuition sessions.

Seamless monitoring and reporting

Delivering a successful tuition programme requires careful assessment and monitoring of pupil programmes. Our bespoke LEAP portal makes monitoring progress and providing feedback to schools simple and straightforward.

Our registered tutors benefit from access to an online assessment platform, supporting their work flow. This is provided by our partner company, Ed Place. The platform offers assessments designed for each year group and subject covered by the National Tutoring Programme. Giving you information to help create and deliver high-impact tuition.

Career enhancing opportunities

The skills and knowledge you gain from the training and the practical experience of the sessions will open-up new career opportunities and enhance your CV.

Important work available across the country

We are anticipating a huge demand for NTP tuition programmes from schools across the country. Our local branch network is ready to help match your experience and skill set to pupils who will benefit the most from your expertise.
