Year 6 Primary Teacher
Location: Leicestershire, Ibstock
Job Type: Maternity Cover Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £130 - £160 Per day / £650 - £800 per week (open to negotiation)
Qualifications: QTS, Qualified Teacher Status, Degree Qualified

The school has also built a reputation for supporting other schools and regularly supplies support to schools across the county. They support schools by giving teachers and other school leaders guidance on reading, writing, knowledge acquisition, training newly qualified teachers and improving outcomes for disadvantaged children. Children have the opportunity to attend a residential trip in Year 4 and Year 6 as well as trips to national and local places of interest. Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Year 6 students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and school leadership
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in school meetings and events
Education:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
Experience:
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Prior experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time contract
- Easter holidays until end of summer term.
