Job Description:

Protocol Education are currently working with a mainstream Primary school in Hackney who are looking for a passionate and motivated TA to join them immediately.

Your role will consist of working with the classroom teacher to create a positive learning enviroment for all students.

You will also be responsible for working closely with children with SEND in the class.

Job Duties:

  • Support the Year 3 teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Assist with classroom management and student supervision
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help
  • Prepare and organise teaching materials
  • Assist with assessments and record-keeping

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with primary school-aged children
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Ability to build rapport with students and work well in a team
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • SEN experience

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Contract position based in a primary school in Hackney

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
