Job Description:
Protocol Education are currently working with a mainstream Primary school in Hackney who are looking for a passionate and motivated TA to join them immediately.
Your role will consist of working with the classroom teacher to create a positive learning enviroment for all students.
You will also be responsible for working closely with children with SEND in the class.
Job Duties:
- Support the Year 3 teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Assist with classroom management and student supervision
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help
- Prepare and organise teaching materials
- Assist with assessments and record-keeping
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with primary school-aged children
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Ability to build rapport with students and work well in a team
- Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- SEN experience
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
