I am currently working with a school based in Islington who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join them after October half-term.

The school is easily accessible via bus or tube.

A strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and in particular, phonics, is essential for this role.

The school are looking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic classroom teacher who is confident at managing behaviour.

To be eligible for this role:

  • You must have a valid in date DBS and be able to proide 2x professional references.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide two professional or relevant educational references within the last three years.
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Valid QTS certificate
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • Nurturing and caring character
  • Above and beyond approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
