Unqualified Teaching Assistant

Salary:

£80 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Helping to prepare educational materials and resources
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching

Required Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required, but a passion for working with children and a desire to support their learning and development

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths are desirable

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is REQUIRED.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Basic understanding of classroom dynamics

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be an advantage

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting, following the school's term-time calendar. The candidate may need to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
