Our amazing client based in Ealing are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join them. There is a high level of training provided so even if you don't have any recognised qualifications the school would love for you to help them and their mission.
Responsibilities:

Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.

Provide one-on-one support or small group assistance to students with a variety of learning needs.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.

Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess students' progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.

Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.

Support students during academic and non-academic activities, ensuring their full participation and engagement.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant is desirable( but not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
