The role of the Educational Cover Supervisor is one of many talents. You wouldn’t be expected to prepare or teach a lesson. Simply assist the class in understanding and learning what’s presented to them. Be it, book work or a thought-provoking task that questions their knowledge on a topic.

As an Educational Cover Supervisor your role will include,

  • Presenting cover lessons to classrooms.
  • Supervising and supporting pupils while they attempt tasks.
  • Aiding students in accessing and understanding the curriculum.
  • Monitoring behaviour and welfare of pupils.
  • Helping to ensure all students have access to equal opportunities.
  • To be vigilant in safeguarding.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the education or childcare sector with relevant transferable skills including time keeping, speaking, and listening skills. You will have the passion and the drive to create a fun atmosphere for the class and push a positive ‘want to learn’ attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
