Protocol Education are looking for several Teaching Assistant’s looking for on-going work in Burgess Hill. We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in all Key Stages from EYFS – KS2 to begin in ASAP. 

The role begins on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent. Pay is dependant on experience and role requirements.

Job Duties:

- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and educational activities.
- Assisting with planning and preparing teaching materials.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Assisting students with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining classroom discipline.
- Supervising students during break times and off-site activities.
- Supporting students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia.
- Assisting with the use of assistive technologies and adaptive equipment.
- Collaborating with other teaching staff and professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring and recording student progress and reporting to the classroom teacher.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
