Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons, providing essential assistance to upper primary students as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons across the Key Stage Two curriculum
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help with their learning
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
- Support students with their academic progress, providing targeted interventions and support as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties to support the smooth running of the classroom and school
Requirements:
- Experience working with upper primary students in an educational setting preferred
- Knowledge of the Key Stage Two curriculum and a commitment to promoting student achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students' learning and development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
