Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students across different stages of primary education, providing essential support to teachers and students as they progress through their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help with their learning
  • Help create positive and inclusive classroom environments where all students feel valued and supported
  • Support students with their academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student needs and implement targeted interventions and support strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary-aged students in an educational setting preferred
  • Knowledge of both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula and a commitment to promoting student achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of different ages
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students' learning and development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
