The Opportunity
Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team in South Shields. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds, including recent graduates, to make a positive impact in the lives of children. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting children and believe in their right to equal opportunities, including those with Autism and other special needs.
The Role
In this role, you will provide one-to-one support and assist students who require additional academic support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching activities in the classroom.
- Assisting students in their academic progress.
- Working one-on-one with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Dedication to a career in education.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
