Protocol Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in Newcastle.

Your role will involve providing one-to-one support or closely assisting students who require extra academic support.

The role entails:

  • Assisting teaching activities in the classroom.
  • Supporting students in their academic progress.
  • Working individually with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Be willing to work as a team, taking advice from other colleagues and senior members of staff as well as sharing their own ideas

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Possession of, or willingness to apply for, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in education.
  • Positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
