Job Description:
We are currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 1 classes in various primary schools. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible basis, covering short-term absences, long-term placements, and day-to-day assignments as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and other teaching assistants to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably Key Stage 1.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.
  • Flexible availability to take on assignments at short notice.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
