Protocol Education is currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team in Gateshead.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting children and believe in their right to equal opportunities, including those with Autism and other special needs.

In this role, you will provide one-to-one support and assist students who require additional academic support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching activities in the classroom.
  • Assisting students in their academic progress.
  • Working one-on-one with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Dedication to a career in education.
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
