Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes
  • Assisting students with their learning activities
  • Supervising students during lessons and breaks
  • Preparing educational materials and resources
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with special educational needs
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
  • Additional qualifications in education or childcare are desirable

Experience:

  • Prior experience working in a school or educational environment
  • Experience supporting students with learning difficulties is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Work within a school setting in Westminster, Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
