Job Duties:

The Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support the educational and emotional development of students. Duties include assisting in the preparation of classroom materials, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping with classroom management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience in a similar role

Education:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The Teaching Assistant will work in a classroom setting within a school environment. The role may involve working with students with special educational needs. The individual may need to adapt to various learning styles and behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
