Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with teaching staff to provide essential health care support within the classroom setting.
  • Assist students with medical needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Administer medication and manage medical equipment following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to the overall development of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, teachers, and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
