Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in Special Needs Schools across Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside, full time. 

We are offering you the chance to apply your skills to help children with developing sensory awareness, enhancing motor skills, aligning with care plans, teaching vocabulary, fostering speech and language development, and contributing to creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance.

Key Details:

The role:

  • Overseeing the classroom
  • Deliver pre-set work to the class
  • Manage behaviour
  • Interact with students and teachers.
  • One-to-one support for students
  • Collaborative teamwork
  • Focus on developing social and cognitive skills

Experience of working in a school is helpful but not always necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
