Protocol Education are working with an academy located in Walthamstow for students aged 11 to 16 with a range of complex needs including a range of complex needs including a rang of social, emotional and mental health needs.

This school are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and hands on practitioner to join the educational team and help deliver an outstanding curriculum.  

As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the classroom teacher with preparing learning materials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too.

Ideally the school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, however applications will still be considered from those with little to no experience supporting students in an educational setting.

Full training and development will be provided by the schools to ensure that you can succeed in your role. 

 

Requirements:

  • Delivery of person-centred approach, one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Capability to sustain the development of pupils, educational and behaviour related.
  • Support students to meet their goals through communication, independence, and participation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
