Protocol Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for schools in Nottinghamshire. We are searching for someone to work under the direction of appropriate staff and to support the classroom teacher where needed. This can include supervising the whole class during short-term absences of teachers. 

The role:

  • Supporting the students - promote good behaviour, provide feedback, use appropriate strategies to develop independence and achievements. 
  • Support for the teacher - enable lesson goals to be achived by all students, liaise with parents and teachers. 
  • Support the curriculum - assist students in accessing learning activities, adjust activities according to students response, arrange activitities under direction of the teachers. 
  • Support the academy - be aware of relevant policies and procedures, ensure all students have equal access to oppurtunities, undertake relevant activities to the role such as meetings and trips.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
