Teaching and Learning Assistant Lead

This school is a high achieving co-educational, multicultural school. At the most recent Ofsted inspection the school was rated “outstanding”. There are many and varied CPD opportunities available and previous FTLAs have successfully gained places on PGCE courses and progressed to become qualified teachers.

The role :You will be responsible for independently covering classes in the absence of the class teacher.

The successful applicant will be : 

  • Degree qualified & enthusiasm for working in a school.
  • Ability to explain things clearly, hold student engagement & behaviour management.
  • To be confident in supporting with young people aged 11-16 years.
  • A good level of English, ICT and Maths
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
