Protocol Education is recruiting a qualified science teacher to be based in one of the schools we have a fantastic partnership with in Sunderland. Must live in the North-East of England. Pay and hours are negotiable.

The person we are looking for should:

Qualifications and experience:

  • A graduate with qualified teacher status.
  • A strong teacher of Science- this post is also suitable for ECTs.
  • Relevant qualifications (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the appointment.
  • Excellent in-depth knowledge of the place of the Science curriculum in the development of young people and of the place of within the wider curriculum.

An understanding of the importance of a rigorous reading strategy to ensure students’ confidence and reading fluency.
