Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible)

Salary: £130 - £180 per day, based on experience and qualifications.

About Us: At the School, we aim to inspire, transform, and teach. We're currently seeking a dedicated Music Teacher who embodies our ethos of endeavoring, enjoying, and excelling.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated music curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and support their development.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages individual potential.
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • Engage in personal and academic growth opportunities.
  • Manage operational and strategic planning, curriculum planning, staff development, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Provide pastoral support as a form tutor.
  • Ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrate successful teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in multi-ethnic urban schools.
  • Understand effective teaching and learning practices.
  • Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
  • Possess strong communication, ICT, and time management skills.
  • Ability to motivate students and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders.
