ICT Teacher Job Description

Position: Teacher of ICT and Computing
Supervisor: Head of ICT & Computing
Day Rate: £130 - £180 per day

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).

Primary Objective:

  • Deliver exceptional teaching, ensuring student achievement and engagement in line with the school's values.
  • Uphold high standards of learning and achievement for all students, fostering equality of opportunity.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders for the benefit of students.
  • Promote safeguarding and welfare of children within the school.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in fulfilling duties as requested by the Head Teacher.

Specific Responsibilities:

Teaching:

  • Deliver relevant curriculum to different age and ability groups.
  • Create engaging teaching materials to support learning.
  • Utilize assessment effectively to monitor and support student progress.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
  • Assign homework and activities to reinforce learning.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
