Position Overview:

As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Years 3 to 6. Working collaboratively with colleagues and school leaders, you will design and implement engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of KS2 students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and facilitate students' understanding of key concepts and skills.
  • Assess students' progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback and implementing targeted interventions to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and promote the holistic well-being of students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
