6.5 hour days.

 

 

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for somenone to work 1:1 with a child who has challenging behaviour in a secondary school in North Tyneside. You will be assigned 1:1 Mental Health & Academic support for a child who struggles with SEMH. This is a wholesome role which allows for you to create a lasting memory and a better future for the child.

 

The student that you will be working with may have either ASC/Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH)/complex learning disabilities or being identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP). The school’s pride themselves, as being part of a supportive local authority, they aim to support every child in order that they can develop their self-esteem, achieve appropriate and challenging personal targets and develop an enthusiasm for learning so that they can make the most of opportunities presented to them. All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be.

 

70% OF MENTAL HEALTH BEGINS IN CHILDHOOD. The ideal person will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.
