Job Title: Supply Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate students' work and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the educational needs of students

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a classroom setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and strategies

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a supply teacher isn't essential but is desired 

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours may vary depending on school requirements
  • May need to travel to different schools within the area
  • Work in a classroom setting with students of varying ages and abilities
