Job Title: Supply Teacher

Job Duties:

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your duties will include following lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, assessing student work, and providing feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

A degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or working with children is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional teaching certifications
  • Experience working as a Supply Teacher

Working Conditions:

You will work on a temporary basis, covering short-term teaching absences. This role may involve working in different schools and adapting to various teaching environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
