Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours
Salary: £120 - £150 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Adhere to the school's curriculum and lesson plans
- Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
- Assess and record students' progress and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience working in a classroom setting
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Previous experience as a teacher or educator
- Experience working with students of varying abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate certificate in Education
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school environment
- Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required
- Potential for short notice assignments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
