Job Title: Supply Teacher

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for Supply Teachers to support in Secondary Schools & Primary Schools in the St. Ives/Huntingdon and surrounding areas. A supply teacher role is a perfect opportunity to gain experience within a range of different schools and have a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of young people. Whether you are an experienced Teacher looking to step away from the full time Class Teacher responsibilities or whether you are an ECT looking to experience the way different schools do things to find a 'best fit' for you, the role of a supply teacher brings fun and flexibility and is a great way to develop your practice by learning from a wealth of staff no matter how experienced you are! 

 

Salary:

£125 - £150 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students across different age groups and subjects
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a teacher in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher
  • Specialist subject knowledge

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work in a school environment with varying classroom settings
  • Collaborate with diverse students and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
