Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, St Ives

Salary: £130 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

1. Delivering engaging lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher.

2. Following the school's policies and procedures in managing classroom behaviour.

3. Planning and preparing teaching materials and activities based on the curriculum.

4. Assessing students' progress and providing feedback to both students and regular teachers.

5. Collaborating with other educators and school staff to support the learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Enhanced DBS Check

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience in a teaching role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the national curriculum

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

- Organisational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional teaching certifications or specialisations

- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

- Part-time hours, typically during regular school hours

- Work in various schools within the East of England region

- Adherence to school policies and procedures

- Collaboration with school staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
