Job Title: Supply Teacher

Salary:

The salary for this position is £120 - £140 per day.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Follow the school's curriculum and ensure all learning objectives are met.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

A degree in Education or relevant field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a teacher or in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special education needs (SEN) is desirable.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the school's calendar and hours of operation. The teacher may be required to work in different classrooms and with various age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
