Student support worker: Newcastle upon Tyne

77-90 per day

Fulltime: Monday-Friday (6.5 hour days)

Are you passionate about supporting young people during their time in education? Here at Protocol, we supply long-term support staff to schools across the country.

This role requires you to work closely with a small group of pupils or work with a student one-to-one. The students you work with may have learning difficulties or forms of SEND. You will be expected to support them through their personal and academic development.

This is an incredibly rewarding role and can result with a perm role within the school.

The role:

  • Supporting KS 3-4 students with their personal and academic development
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support
  • Implementing individualised progress plans.
  • Forming positive relationships with the students you support
  • Supporting the teacher in the classroom

The Requirements:

  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Has positive communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting students during their time in school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
