Are you a passionate sports coach with a desire to make a positive impact in the classroom?

 We are a leading education agency dedicated to providing exceptional support to primary schools across Leeds. We are currently seeking dynamic Teaching Assistants with a background in sports coaching to join our team and inspire young minds.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your coaching expertise to enhance lessons in primary school pupils.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with varying abilities, utilizing sports activities to boost confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and deliver innovative lessons, aligning with school policies and educational objectives.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and mentor, encouraging their personal and academic development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience coaching or leading sports activities for children, ideally within a school or community setting.
  • Passion for education, with a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and holistic development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings and with pupils of varying ages and abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
