Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher

  • Supporting Children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

Protocol Education is currently seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a local school in Enfield. This opportunity is perfect for an individual who is passionate about teaching children with diverse special educational needs and has a strong background in SEN.

The ideal candidate will be confident in behaviour management and adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the unique learning requirements of students with special educational needs.
  • Create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs), setting clear learning objectives and monitoring progress.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to enhance student engagement and participation.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and working closely with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to education.

Requirements:

  • A valid Child Workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) on the Update Service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Desired:

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) qualification
  • Relevant experience in SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
