Job Title: Spanish Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance language acquisition and proficiency.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultural appreciation.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Spanish language and culture across the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Teaching certification/license in Spanish (or eligibility for certification/license).
  • Proficiency in Spanish language (native or near-native proficiency preferred) with excellent speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Previous experience teaching Spanish at the Secondary Level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
  • Passion for teaching Spanish and a commitment to fostering cultural understanding and appreciation among students.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is a patient and approachable individual.
  • Has positive communication skills.
  • Has a passionate for student development.
  • Ideally experience in a school setting( Not mandatory)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
