Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Sociology and Criminology
- Assess and provide feedback on students' work
- Monitor and track student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Sociology, Criminology, or a related field
- Experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology
Education:
Degree in Sociology, Criminology, or a related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Sociology and Criminology concepts
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The teacher will be expected to work full-time hours and may participate in extracurricular activities or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
