Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Sunderland.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging activities and lesson plans.
- Provide personalized support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, across various subjects.
- Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) by adapting materials to meet their individual requirements.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment by supervising students at all times.
- Foster a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
- Support teachers in assessing student progress and development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting.
- Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and disabilities.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a qualification in education or child development is advantageous.
- Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
