Job Details:

  • Duration: Long Term, Full-Time Position (Monday to Friday, 8.30-15.30)

About the Role:

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist with Protocol Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse learning needs of students within alternative provisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personalised Support: Independently manage a caseload of students with special educational needs, delivering tailored interventions to address their unique learning requirements.

  2. Inclusive Learning Environments: Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring that all students feel valued and included.

  3. Collaborative Interventions: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for students with SEND.

  4. Advocacy and Representation: Act as the SEN representative in multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring the holistic support of students with special needs.

  5. School Vision Integration: Embrace and promote the school's values and vision, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience with children with SEN
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development.
  • Right to work 
  • Enhanced DBs on the update serivce or willing to obtain

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
