Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting
  • Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with ADHD and SEMH
  • Working with students in Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification or equivalent

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of ADHD, SEMH, and other special educational needs
  • Ability to work effectively with children in different key stages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SEN Diploma or relevant qualification
  • First Aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
