Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SEND teacher with QTS to join a specialist school from September. 

The school caters for pupils aged 8-19 with speech, language and communication needs. The school and trust provide support and opportunities for professional development including working with colleagues in other Trust settings and the opportunity to meet for professional dialogue.

About you:

  • You will hold QTS
  • Applications are welcome from primary, secondary, special school and mainstream 
  • Someone with a particular interest in food technology, horticulture & outdoor learning 
  • Positive and proactive when working with pupils
  • Keen to learn and develop their own practice
  • Passionate about developing the curriculum and quality of education

The role:

  • Responsibility for a form group
  • Engagement with parents and carers including Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) review meetings
  • Teaching of Food Technology, Horticulture and Outdoor Learning and may also include some teaching of Maths/English.

Pay: MPR/UPR +SEN 1 £2,539(SEN1)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
