Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher with exceptional teaching abilities to work with young individuals with complex needs, particularly those with autism. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering our carefully designed curriculum and assessment framework, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a class of pupils and deliver the full curriculum
  • Provide high-quality and effective learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with learning support assistants and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Inspire and motivate pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents, professionals, and the community
  • Contribute to the wider school community

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE
  • QTS
  • Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Experience in teaching children with SEND, particularly autism spectrum disorders

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong behaviour management abilities
  • Understanding of SEND and SEMH

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or qualifications in Special Education

Full-Time contract position
