Exciting Opportunity: SEND Teacher Needed in Sunderland!

Protocol Education is collaborating with a SEN school in Sunderland seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to support their students starting ASAP (Valid DBS Dependent). Whether you're an experienced teacher or newly experienced with a background in SEND, this role welcomes you.

The Role:

  • Plan, teach, and assess the National Curriculum, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of SEND pupils.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals, providing direction to Teaching Assistants as necessary.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience teaching children with various SEND, including ASC, PMLD, SEMH, and Physical Disabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Possess an empathetic and calm demeanor to support students effectively.
  • Enthusiastic about becoming an integral part of the school community.
  • Previous experience with SEND interventions is desirable.

Requirements:

  • Proof of the right to work in the UK.
  • Availability to work five days a week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
