We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND TA/Behaviour Coach to join our team. As a SEND TA/Behaviour Coach, you will play a vital role in leading the delivery of planned sessions aimed at supporting student development across core subjects including English, Maths, and Science. Your primary responsibilities will include providing 1-to-1 guidance to students who require extra support, ensuring their participation, retention, and progression in sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of planned sessions, fostering student development in core subjects.
  • Provide 1-to-1 guidance to students requiring additional support.
  • Support the participation, retention, and progression of learners in sessions.
  • Liaise effectively with other staff members to ensure cohesive support for students.
  • Attend and actively engage in staff meetings, maintaining effective communication with staff, learners, and relevant organizations.
  • Undertake necessary training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) relevant to the post.
  • Adhere to the LMP Code of Conduct and all operational, Health & Safety, Child Protection, and Data Protection policies.
  • Contribute to organizational tasks during non-attendance periods, including creating templates or activities, administrative tasks, or other duties as assigned.
  • Manage student attendance and report any incidents promptly to the line manager.
  • Assess learners' work and provide constructive feedback to encourage participation.
  • Ensure sessions are engaging, creative, and aligned with our quality assurance process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within SEND education or alternative provision settings.
  • Strong understanding of core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support students on a 1-to-1 basis.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and upholding organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
