Job Title: Entry-Level SEND Support Assistant - Ealing

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join us as Entry-Level SEND Support Assistants. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum, participate in classroom activities, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND in the classroom
  • Assist teachers in adapting lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students
  • Support students with personal care tasks, mobility assistance, and sensory needs as required
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement support strategies and interventions

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for working with students with SEND and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and teachers
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEND preferred but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
