Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Learning Activities: Support the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning activities that cater to the individual needs of students with SEND.

Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring their academic and social progress.

Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students, employing various teaching strategies and tools.

Effective Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the care and education of students with SEND.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.

Empathy: A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.

Listening Skills: A keen ability to understand and respond to the unique needs of each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
