SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Eductaion are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a local SEN school with an immediate start until the end of the academic year, with the posibility to continue next academic year. This SEN school works with both primary and secondary students with a range of needs including: ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH.

The school are looking for someone who is passionate about education with SEN experience of a background in care work to make the transition into a school setting.

 

The role:


- Working alongside students with ASD, MLD, PMLD & SEMH

- Helping the class teacher deliver materials to students

- Supporting the students individually

- Intervention sessions

 

Must haves;

- DBS on the Update Service

- Right to work in the UK

- Previous SEN or care experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
