Job Duties:

  • Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for SEN students
  • Supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Helping students to develop their social and communication skills
  • Assisting with personal care and physical tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Minimum of Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification
  • Experience in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification
  • Additional training in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
