About the Role:

Qualifications and Skills:

We are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Previous experience in a school or care setting, supporting students dealing with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • A comprehensive understanding of SEMH conditions and effective strategies for providing support.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with students and enhance their social and emotional development.
  • Compassion, patience, and empathy, driven by a genuine passion for supporting students facing SEMH challenges.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs of students across different age groups and abilities.
  • A valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
